Elton Sailing Club - Junior Taster Day (age 8 - 17) 

Come join us for a fun-filled session at Elton Sailing Club! Our Junior Taster Day is the perfect opportunity for kids to experience the excitement of sailing. Whether they're new to the sport or have tried before, this event is sure to be a blast. Participants will try the basics of sailing, meet new friends and find out more about Elton Juniors.

Don't miss out on this chance to get on the water and have a great time!

The 2 hours session will give you the opportunity to come along to the club, meet some of our current juniors and have a go at sailing, in sessions led by our experienced team of Junior sailing instructors. There is lots of information about Elton Juniors, book yourself onto one of the sessions and come along. Sessions cost £5.

Frequently Asked Questions

What clothing do I need? 

Clothes: If you have a wet suit bring this, if not Tracksuit bottoms or leggings, with a fleece top and waterproof coat.

Shoes: Trainers or water-shoes are ideal, no flip flops, no wellies.

Bring a complete change of clothes and shoes, a warm hat (if it's chilly) and a towel

What will the session include?

You will get to experience one of our Junior training sessions, which include games, learning and time on the water. You will be taken out with one of our team of experienced Junior Sailing Instructors.

Is there an age limit?

Junior Sailors should be 8 years and above

Do parents need to stay?

Yes. Parents must stay onsite at all times.
