Training

Elton sailing club is a RYA recognised Training Centre & Volvo Champion Club. We are also an RYA OnBoard training centre with links to local schools. Our volunteer instructors, assisted by Club members organise taster sessions and run beginner courses on Saturdays throughout the sailing season for anyone interested in having a go at sailing.

We also run intermediate and improver courses for members & Juniors  throughout the season from April to September on Saturdays.

Junior Training: We plan to run Junior training sessions on Saturday's starting in April 2012. Watch this space for further details in the new year.

Taster and Improver sessions: Saturday afternoons throughout the season (April to Sept in 2012).

We are also running courses for Power Boat 1 and 2 and First aid Courses through the winter. Check the Club Notice Board for details. We also plan to run training on OD duties to help us all keep up the high standards required to run a successful race day.
