Optimist- Junior single handed dinghy for Under 16's
Extremely popular racing and learning dinghy for kids. Once the kids master the basics they can enjoy a very popular and exciting racing circuit regionally, nationally and internationally.
The class is support as a pathway boat by the RYA meaning zone and national coaching squads are run annually by professional coaches. As a pathway boat the Optimist is the first step of the naturally progression to the Topper's or Laser 4.7.
Ideal boat for those aged 6 to 12 years old want the freedom to go out sailing and learn the basics of sailing and racing.
