Sailforgold day.

Lots of new sailors took part in our sail for gold day on Saturday 11th June. The wind was strong and gusty. We had six juniors who sailed bravely mastering their toppers, and won gold medals. Some twelve youngsters also had their first taste of sailing along with four adults who all capsized. (They all seemed to like it) We made the sports pages of the Bury Times and will be posting our photos on our website and the RYA Sailfor Gold website. Thanks to all Club members who helped on the day. We look forward to seeing our new friends on future Saturday afternoons to explore sailing more.
